Democratic Committeeperson of Chicago’s 41st Ward


The Client


Joe proudly serves as a Major in the United States Air Force JAG Corps, where he is currently assigned to the WI Air National Guard and drills out of the 128th ARW. He previously served as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Cook County, and currently works as a Principal Attorney at the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District (MWRD) of Greater Chicago, where he represents and defends the MWRD on a variety of legal issues in Federal Court, State Court and Administrative Courts.

The position of Ward Committeeperson is an elected, but unpaid, position. The duties of a Committeeperson include ensuring polling stations are staffed with election judges on election days, working to increase voter registration, working to increase voter turnout, recruiting and endorsing candidates for public office.

Each Ward (50) and each suburban township (30) is represented by both an elected Democratic Ward Committeeperson, and by an elected Republican Ward Committeeperson. The boundaries of the 41st Ward are indicated on the map on this page.
